The exquisite range of Ron Abuelo rums date back to 1936 when Spanish entrepreneur Don Jose Varela Blanco, owner of the first sugar mill in the Panamanian Province of Herrera authorised the distillation of sugar cane juice to produce liquor. Ron Abuelo Anejo, Ron Abuelo Anejo 7 Anos and Ron Abuelo Centuria are masterfully created under the watchful eyes of third generation members of the Varela family.
