First, we found a producer and partner who had heritage and expertise in sambuca: the Antiche Distillerie, located in the sambuca heartland of North Italy.
Then, working together with Nicola Dal Toso, their Export Manager, we rebranded Antica Sambuca, styling its image to fit the UK market. And we developed a vibrant range of sambuca flavours, creating our very own category in the process.
We’ve built such great relationships with our customers that we soon convinced them our flavoured sambuca would be a big success, and have longevity too. We’ve been proven right. In 30 months Antica Sambuca has become the fastest growing sambuca range in the UK.
