Title: Business Operations Manager

Location: Kingston-upon-Thames, England


This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most exciting spirits companies in the World, in an Operations role within the Supply Chain, Logistics and Operations function.  You will lead the day-today operations to ensure the smooth running of the organisation and minimising business risk, this includes leading business improvement projects and ensuring we remain compliant to local laws.

The UK & Ireland Business Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Hi-Spirits, both the physical office infrastructure (IT & Facilities) and the wider UK wide compliance to ensure we operate as efficiently as possible & comply with local laws.   As Business Operations Manager you will play a key role in the alignment of the business with our Parent company in the US (Sazerac) while working with external stakeholders to ensure we meet all appropriate timelines.   You will also play a part in the development of operational processes and systems as we position ourselves for continues significant growth.



Position Title: Business Operations Manager UK & Ireland
Qualifications/Experience: 3+ years’ experience working in a similar role within FMCG supply chain with experience in project management & delivering change.

High level of technical capability including Microsoft excel etc, comfortable working with large sets of data across multiple sources.

Demonstrates experience decision making, prioritising a broad workload and collaborating cross functionally.

Reports To: Operations and Logistics Director
Reason for Position: Running the daily operation of the supply chain while supporting process and system improvements that will support the business growth.
Responsibilities:   Office management, through the Facilities and Operations assistant ensuring the day to day running of the Hi-Spirits office plus business rates and Utilities.

Project management to bring new brands to the UK & Ireland market, working with brand managers, sales team, supply chain and global production.

Company compliance, ensuring the business remains compliant to local laws and regulations and pays all taxes and levies such as packaging waste, DRS and business insurance.

Product compliance, working with our US compliance team, brand managers and 3rd parties to ensure our existing and new products meet all required regulations.

IT maintenance and development as we align our operation with our parent company (Sazerac).

Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating across functions and with senior stakeholders.

Project management skills with the ability to successfully plan, manage, prioritise tasks and evaluate across multiple projects.

Focused on continues improvement across all tasks.

High level of technical capability

Must demonstrate commercial acumen with a strong ability to analyse and draw insights from data to drive business efficiencies.

Willing to learn, proactive, positive can-do attitude and desire to own decisions
