Reports to: Logistics Manager

Salary: TBD (depending on experience)
Office based in Hampton Wick, Kingston.

Responsible For:

  • Processing purchase orders on in house ERP system
  • Setting up new products on systems
  • Liaising with warehouse on stock issues
  • Stock reporting
  • Maintaining product details on in house systems
  • Gathering and entering information from suppliers for new products
  • Resolving issues with purchase orders with suppliers and freight forwarders

Job Purpose:

The Logistics Support Assistant will be working alongside four other members of the Logistics Team, all reporting to the Logistics Manager. The primary purpose of the role is to provide support to the Logistics Support Specialist to ensure all products are set up on company systems correctly and in a timely manner, and products arrive in the warehouse as planned.

Key Responsibilities & Critical Success Measures:

  • Products correctly set up and maintained on company systems
  • Placing purchase orders
  • Managing purchase orders to completion
  • Ensuring stock accuracy
  • Basic stock reporting

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Good communicator (Essential)
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Essential)
  • Experience in administrative role (Desirable)
  • Experience in purchasing or procurement (Desirable)
  • Experience within an office environment (Desirable)
