The UK Logistics and Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain, from forecasting and purchase order management with distilleries across the word to processing sales orders and first-class customer service. This role works closely with our production and Sales teams, third party logistics and over 200 customers to achieve our objectives. As logistics and supply chain manager you will lead a team of 5 people to deliver outstanding service while playing a key role to the development of operational processes and systems as we position ourselves for continues significant growth.

Qualifications/Experience: | 3+ years’ experience working in a similar role within FMCG supply chain with experience in delivering change.
High level of technical capability including ERP systems and Microsoft excel etc, comfortable working with large sets of data across multiple sources. Demonstrates experience decision making, prioritising work and delivering through others. |
Reports To: | Operations and Logistics Director |
Reason for Position: | Running the daily operation of the supply chain while supporting process and system improvements that will support the business growth. |
Responsibilities: | Managing 3PL warehouse provider, monitoring their KPI’s, building relationships, establishing areas for improvements and holding them to account to deliver.
Support the forecast process, step change the way we forecast and monitor forecast accuracy. Working closely with sales team to optimise our processes and deliver improved availability and reduced stock holding. Develop the team to enable greater focus on avoiding future issues proactively rather than tacking preventable issues. Support systems development to free up the team’s time. Act as project manager within the logistics team as we implement new systems and software as we align our operation with our parent company (Sazerac). |
