Job Purpose

Deliver sustainable sales growth against ambitious revenue growth targets across all channels of trade through exceptional customer partnerships, profitable revenue growth management and effective application of sales and marketing investment.

Key Responsibilities & Critical Success Measures:

  • Deliver sustainable net sales revenue growth against a long term strategy and business plan through all sales channels
  • Develop exceptional, long term customer partnerships resulting in mutual business growth
  • Deliver profitable revenue growth from existing brands and successfully launch and grow new brands to enhance revenue
  • Execute against the commercial strategy along with the Marketing Director to increase share in priority sales channels. Develop and deliver against commercial strategy enhancements to ensure achievement of targets.
  • Lead, develop and optimise a dynamic, successful sales structure and team, playing a key role in instilling the company culture and mindset

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • UK on and off trade alcohol experience (10+years) including grocery experience
  • Existing, proven UK customer relationships
  • Proven sales channel / department leadership, considered inspirational leader
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and decision making skills
  • Proven experience in driving positive organisational change from a less structured, ‘hands on’ environment
  • Proven experience in strategic commercial opportunity identification, decision making and delivery.
  • Proven ability to deal with complexity supported by strong planning, organisational and executional capability

Preferred Requirements

  • Spirits experience
  • UK managed on trade / wholesale alcohol experience
  • Ecommerce experience
