Award winning craft spirit Langley’s No.8 Gin is extending its reach through a new distribution agreement with Hi-Spirits.
The acclaimed small batch gin will be available to both the on-trade and off-trade through Hi-Spirits from May 1. Langley’s No.8 is a 41.7% premium gin made at the historic Langley Distillery in the Midlands.
Launched just over two years ago, the brand has gained accolades including a Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2014, and Two Star Gold in the 2013 Great Taste Awards. It is currently available at Harvey Nichols and a range of specialist retailers, while on-trade stockists include Peach Pubs, Corney & Barrow, Gaucho, and ETM.
The balanced, elegant English gin contains eight botanicals and is hand-crafted and distilled to create a smooth, lingering and robust flavour profile, unique to the brand.
Dan Bolton, managing director of Hi-Spirits, said: “We’re delighted to add Langley’s No.8 Gin to our growing portfolio of partner brands. The gin renaissance amongst UK consumers shows no sign of abating and Langley’s No.8 further strengthens our gin range.
“As a classic English craft gin, it appeals to discerning consumers who enjoy great cocktails and mixed spirit drinks when they’re out in bars and restaurants, or at home. The fact that Langley’s No.8 already has such an impressive range of aspirational stockists gives us a very strong base from which to develop the brand further.”
Signature serves for Langley’s No.8 Gin include the classic Gin & Tonic, as well as the Gentleman’s Martini made with vermouth and olive water, and the Langley’s 008 made with elderflower liqueur and apple juice.
Along with Langley’s No 8 Gin, Hi-Spirits’ gin range includes Broker’s London Dry Gin, Gin No.209 from San Francisco, Blackwood’s Gin, and King of Soho. The company distributes a wide range of spirits including Antica Sambuca, Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Sebor Absinth and Fireball.
